I need to get in shape.....

So, about a week or two ago, my sister-in-law commented that I was "getting fat". (How nice of her.) It would appear that her assessment is fairly correct. It would appear, that as I creep into my 30's, my metabolism isn't as forgiving as it once was. I checked my "workout stats"...... yes.... I have an excel spreadsheet that tracks my "stats"....2008 (Good Year).... 2009 (I skipped that year...hence the weight gain.....)...2010 (currently..Horrible):

2008 Craig: 151lbs - 12.4% Body Fat - 5K run - 8:42 min/mile

2010 Craig: 170lbs - 18.8% Body Fat - 5k run.... no way (1 mile - 9:50 min/mile)

So....it is apparent I have "let myself go".....@20lbs..geez....Thus, I started going to the gym again this week regularly. I'm easing into it...so I'll only go 3 times this week. Also, I've had to adjust my schedule with the baby. I have to go to the gym in the morning, so Kat can go in the evening.

I've also adjusted the diet a bit..... no more beer. I know...sounds rough...especially with the holidays and such upon us. Plenty of holiday parties. Unfortunately, it is obvious.... I don't need the empty calories. I'm looking forward to being super buff this coming summer!!!!
